I talk to neighbors/friends that are on the conservative side of the spectrum. They are oblivious to many things like drag queen story hour, move from currency to embedded chip, compromise of politicians, US-funded biolabs in Ukraine, and on and on. It is disheartening.
The shock required to wake them is going to be very painful, for everyone.
