We were shocked at the number of people in our church who willingly got the shots early on. They were quite sanctimonious about it. After they got the shot they stopped wearing masks to service, as if they were protected. They thought it was magical.

I go to a Christian summer camp where families rent a cabin for the week. Same week, every year, about 12-15 other families, in their cabins as well for the last 20+ years (Same families by the way, year after year). In the summer of 2021 when "everyone was getting vaxxed" it became stunningly clear that groups of "vaxxed" family campers started to hang out together avoiding others. Quite a few in this "vaxxed" herd were in everyone's business needing to know their jab status. It was like high school cliques where certain cool people could "hang together". Very disheartened by it all but somewhat predictable.

Didn't bother me one iota. I avoid people 99% of the time anyway and I love fishing by myself. Just a comment on herd mentality.
