Going to dinner, tonight, we saw a huge billboard advertising heart care!!! for children, at one of the areas largest hospitals.
We cannot recall EVER seeing huge billboards dedicated to CHILDREN’S HEART ISSUES, in previous years.
Just sickening.
I am familiar with a doctor who specializes in children heat issues. Very successful and has large, multi-location practice. Probably 85+% of these problems are congenital or genetic and discovered at/right after birth (like being born with a hole in one’s heart). The other 15% are patients of all ages who have other disorders that affect the heart rate. The kind of work this doctor does is very specialized, kids come from all over for care, because these conditions are so rare.
