Just about every Republican in the Senate has a spending problem that needs to be stopped, and there’s still morons in the House who need to get their hands chopped off. That’s what you do to thieves.
If they do this, they can go home and say they accomplished something.
If all they’re going to do is investigations that lead to no one being punished or more stupid stuff like the bill to revoke funding for the IRS that is DOA in the Senate and never will be signed into law, it will be a big waste of time. Stopping Biden’s spending is the one thing Republicans can do, and should do.

Republicans rule the House. There’s this thing called a annual budget. It’s in the Constitution as the job of the House. No Continuing Resolutions or Debt Ceiling if you pass it as the Constitution instructs.
They won’t pass one.

Republicans aren’t about to do that, they love doing business this way. They have the House, their job is to pass a budget. They won’t even do that, they like the debt ceiling circus of graft.
while that would certainly be best for the country, it will also help get Biden re-elected.
The Republican house will fix the country the same as they did when Bill Clinton was president, then Clinton, or in this case Biden will claim all the credit and be re-elected.
No, with Biden and McConnell, Ukraine comes first. McConnell has even said so. And a GOP congressman has proposed a bust of Zelensky in the Capitol. Nobody’s proposing that for Black Rock. We’ll be subsidizing Ukraine and Zelensky government for years if not decades.
