Not only would we be back to cottage industries, if any, but we’d be reading by whale oil light, farming with horses, digging with wooden shovels, bathrooming with honey buckets. Can’t wait!

when we bought our house years ago, there was still coal and a white porcelin pot in the basement. might come in handy...

You left out famine.

There is no way we can feed our own population, much less anyone else, with that level of technology. I doubt that 5% of the American people could survive with 1850s technology.
