I still have inspection and CMM equipment running XP.... Anyone who complains can feel free to purchase me roughly $300,000 worth of new equipment so I can use Windows 11.
Your situation is exactly why MS should let go of both XP and Win 7 licenses to open source. Technically there is a good case they are now “Abandonware”.
Yeah, that sort of usage (lab work relying on legacy software & hardware) is why I have a few old machines (and even backups for some) that can take those old full size / length cards. Not quite that much money involved, but, still way too much for me to come up with.
