Running the score up like that when you’ve already proven beyond a shadow of a doubt and in front of a national audience that you’re the better team is a no class, scumbag thing to do. And don’t give me that B.S. line that “We’ll, it was TCU’s job to stop them.” It was obvious halfway through the second half that TCU didn’t have a prayer. If the Georgia coaching staff has any class, they would have put the entire second string offense in and told them “no passes.” They’d still have their championship and trophy without humiliating the members of the other team. And I was rooting for Georgia when the game started…

Bull poop! This is a national championship. Score and score more. Make the defense stop ya. That’s a sissy argument
The Georgia second string outscored the TCU first string. Should the Dawgs have pulled high schoolers out of the stands to make it a fair game?
You sound really upset that the Dawgs didn't follow the Ohio State game plan of keeping it close. Put anything on TCU to cover the spread?

The seniors had been pulled by then. At least some of them. Agreed it was unnecessary but TCU wasn’t putting up much of a fight against next years starters. It was just a bad, ugly night.
Making a point of bringing real teams to the championship was well worth the effort. Alabama and Georgia might have been grown men versus grown men. TCU looked like community college. Never realized how good the SEC is.
