This is the 1965 movie The Monkey's Uncle which was a sequel to 1964's The Misadventures of Merlin Jones. Same cast. Each film was actually two 45 minutes episodes (with separate plots) originally intended to air on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color tv program as a 4-part series. They were released to theaters instead to take advantage of Annette's popularity in films. The Beach Boys opening was added for this purpose.
