McCarthy missed becoming Speaker in 2015, because it was rumored he'd had a 5-year long affair with Republican Congresswoman Renee Ellmers (N.C.). She's blonde too. She and Greene resemble each other, at least to me. My husband was a philanderer, and leopards don't change their spots. I don't like to think that way, but call it a woman's intuition that those two are a bit too close. I'm betting the relationship started when she was removed from her committee assignments. Kevin was there to comfort her. Someone else on FR said that Lauren Boebert alleged something of that nature, but wouldn't expand on it. Greene's husband filed for divorce last year claiming the marriage was irretrievably damaged. Their divorce was finalized the end of 2022.
