Unlikely thrombolytics would be used if chest trauma was suspected cause of cardiac arrest. Pretty strong contraindication for use AFAIK. But, I am only a nurse, not a doctor.

If tamponade that makes obvious sense. If that and other trauma is ruled out as the cause of the arrest, thrombosis must be considered. Thrombosis may be associated with Vax injury, which is my point of interest. Vax looks increasingly unlikely as a cause, but this topic still is interesting to me. If this player was an ordinary person, he would be just another died suddenly that would not be interesting to anybody.
