You nailed it. Indoctrinate the children, or just fail to educate them at all about anything useful or meaningful, and you OWN them forever because they become helpless. They’re unable to think critically or plan for the future and they become very lazy thinkers, if they think at all. Every time I see a story here about some abomination in a school, my first thought is “There are still parents sending their children to schools?” I’m hoping the recent re-engagement by parents at the school board level will signal a sea change.
