Lol! Ah yes, the rock band, Van der Graaf Generator. I wonder if any of the band mates were directly or distantly related to the American physicist and inventor of the original Van de Graaff generator, Robert Jemison Van de Graaff. It’s always a curiosity to me how bands come up with their names. Mott the Hoople, Chumbawamba, Limp Bizkit, Toad the Wet Sprocket.
