There was a McDonald’s ad on a billboard in Times Square in May 2021 promoting the vaccine and they placed the slogan “We can do this” on their hot drink cups starting in July. The cups also included a reference to the site Vaccines.org. Other packaging wasn’t modified, in spite of the image shown on the French fry container.
At the time, I asked the local owner if McDonald’s was really going there and he said “Not in Canada. We warned the company to remain neutral with respect to the vaccines.” The campaign didn’t make it to Canada and I don’t know how successful it was in America. It’s appalling that they would even consider it, but I learned over time that the more women there were in high profile positions in a company, the more on board the company seemed to be with mandates, etc, Sorry ladies, that was just my observation here. Fear sells well in some demographics.
They should have a picture of an enormously obese family, instead. That’s what they promote..
