Rule of threes - 3 minutes without oxygen, 3 days without water and 3 weeks without food. I’m sure there are some variations, but 7 days seems beyond any exception. She may have survived 7 days if the miralax was dissolved in the recommended 8 ounces of water and she drank it. Even an IV solution might have some amount of saline. It’s hard to say without having more details about her treatment.
They actually got water if you parse it, they just got it with a laxative so they were obviously getting enough to survive.
My step maternal great grandmother at 82 made it for close to if not 3 days without water straight up (stuck in rocks lost in the woods). She survived, (6 days total) but she was pretty rough when found (but insisted she was gonna walk out when gotten free of rocks).
