This is great stuff getting all those concessions. I’m just going to wait till Monday to make sure the rules packages passes, to celebrate. We’ll have to see if the swamp has any ammo left for a countermove. In the meantime, I’m cautiously optimistic.

Trump was undoubtedly making the best out of the situation that exists. No one does it better than him. He is the best of the best no doubt.
However,
Do you really think those concessions are real? Hardly! It's more likely they won't happen than will.
Also, is McCarthy the best we could get for speaker? I don't think so.Once again:
to change speakers it's a hard job! You need lots of support from people already voting for an entrenched speaker. From the complaints about McCarthy I have seen, many here, people are not happy with McCarthy nor should they be.
We could have done a lot better but it takes forever to get there and its not easy.
