After looking at the play a few more times, I am thinking that something was happening to Hamlin before the contact. Why? It wasn’t a very good tackle. Hamlin gets in front of Higgins and puts his arms around Higgins, while at the same time Higgins lowers his shoulders and drives into Hamlin’s chest. From having played a bit of football I know that a tackle like that is not very effective. In an open field a runner would straight arm or carry the tackler for more yards. But Hamlin hung on with his best effort. His strength was due to his last reserve of oxygen in his blood. He is able to get up weakly, then collapse.
So there could be many underlying reasons for the play.
Among them, congenital heart disease, hypertensive cardiomyopathy, blunt force trauma on heart, cardiac ischemia due to thrombus formation, commotio cordis, concomitant stroke, and possibly myocarditis related to vax. Or a combination of different conditions.
I hope Hamlin makes it out alive. We will not find out unless all of these factors plus even more obscure conditions are ruled out.
He’s a safety, and in general, safeties aren’t the best tacklers, in terms of technique.
I suspect a preexisting condition was the cause of the incident. Whether or not the "vaccine" was a factor is way above my level of expertise.
