Off topic for sure but I also found the Dennis Miller experiment on MNF to be fascinating. He outed the scripted over-produced circus that pro sports broadcasts ate. They are almost church-like ceremony productions. Even those interviews on the field are read off que cards off camera angle. Nothing is free spoken. Now tonight the hot potato of segment involvement requires free speaking. Now they have just begun the info-babes on field getting scripts.
I remember how Al Michaels handled the O.J. Car Chase, when Captain Janks made his farcical call to Peter Jennings.
