Blows to the center of the chest (football, hockey, lacrosse) are know to cause life threatening arrhythmia. Get over yourself.
Blows to see he center of the chest are very much known to cause changes in heart rhythm That is why you seethe precordial thump used at the start of cpr if no defibrillator is available. i have seen it work. i’m somewhat surprised there was not an AED brought on the field. Bet there will be one on the sidelines after this though the EMTs should have a defibrillator in their rig

Sorry, but it’s my FIRST time witnessing one of those ‘blows’ killing somebody.
And I see them 100s of times a weekend
