Globalist authority disappears the moment ordinary people recognize the illusion of power as mere delusion.
The system's too powerful! You can't beat a "big brother" police State! The globalists control all the money and have all the leverage! I've heard every reason under the sun why individual liberty will continue to lose out to the rapidly advancing technocratic surveillance structure extinguishing Western freedoms today. I say, "So what?" The bigger they come, the harder they fall.
Our whole human story is a repeating pattern in which power accumulates, empires emerge, power corrupts, divisions grow, and empires come crashing down. Anyone who thinks an international oligarchy of corporate behemoths, central banks, and Intelligence Community spy chiefs will succeed where the Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Carolingian, Byzantine, Ottoman, Yuan, Ming, and British empires all failed makes the mistake of giving today's power brokers more credit than they deserve. International oligarchies commanding unbeatable militaries and hoarding unparalleled wealth are nothing new. The "unbeatable" are always beaten.
When we are overwhelmed by those who choose to torment us, we tend to unfairly reward them with even more semantic power by referring to them as an ever-shifting, all-knowing, globular "they" that cannot be tamed, let alone specifically named. Individual politicians, companies, institutions, and agencies end up looking so invincible that they are treated as omniscient gods. Well, they are not divine; they are just ordinary men and women who have acquired tremendous wealth and power over others; and they exist at the top of society's artificially constructed hierarchical pyramid only so long as society chooses. Their authority is neither fixed nor eternal; it disappears the moment enough ordinary people recognize the illusion of power as mere delusion.

They have tremendous power over others, but they will have their own judgement day. I wonder if they think about that?
“Some get ahead by force, others by farce” L.Star
Starting today, January 1st, I’m putting all this in the hands of God. Man is not capable of saving himself or others.
No
bkmk
it’s been a gimmick since the 19th amendment and even probably since the 16th.
I know they will get their eternal judgment but I would love to see a temporal one to them here while I am still on the planet.
Maybe some do. The British tyrants arrested a woman subject for silently praying outside an abortion clinic. They removed her for interrogation and only found through questioning what she was praying about. So they charged her with “intimidating” others.
How was she intimidating others unless her silent prayers to God are heard and responded to by God? They know their own abhorrent sins and are afraid of of the coming just punishment. At least some do.
Problem is, it took over 70 years for the Soviets to do something about their government, replacing it with a kleptocracy.

In the original American model, the people are sovereign and have the right, duty, and authority, and power to create and organize their government the way they want to as the means by which they achieve their goals
all they did was pattern it after ours!
If they haven’t completely turned off their “conscience”..there is a gl
immer of hope.
Exactly correct. And the 70 years it took to overthrow the Soviet tyrants is relatively short, as historical examples go.
I agree completely with Shurk’s analysis and hopefulness. This tyrannical elite will fall like the Romans, the Byzantines or the French elites. The problem is the time it takes. The victims of the old system seldom live long enough to see the triumph over tyranny and the rise of a freer society.
I would normally agree with this, but with automation and in particular robot/drone armies now a real thing... that may brake the cycle and doom humanity to be forever under the boot of whoever controls the robots/drones.
Every single one of those empires depended on people to enforce the tyrannical rule. Push to far... and the people eventually turn on you. But a robot will never turn on you and will follow any order. I fear for our future.
“Our whole human story is a repeating pattern in which power accumulates, empires emerge, power corrupts, divisions grow, and empires come crashing down.”
But none of the previous empires produced a populace that was so fat, comfortable and passively entertained. None of them could even imagine the poorest being the most likely to be obese like our poor. I think that makes our current era unique in all of human experience, and no one really knows what implications it will have for the future because these conditions have never existed until now.
Freegards
Probably not, or they would change their behavior.
The bigger government becomes, the more fragile they are. Hackers could do a lot of damage in a few hours.
The biggest illusion is the idea of “Consent of the Governed”. USA elections are a lie. It’s only purpose is to make people THINK they actually have a voice in how they are governed.
Washington DC and the establishment media complex have destroyed the covenant between the people and the State.
A world wide powder keg is going to blow and woe to those politicians and propagandist who enabled it.
