I remember being stuck for a 6 hour snow delay when I was going home on leave.
A phone with access to movies, books or music would have been great. But then I wouldn’t have met that amazing missionary family that took me under their wing and let me hang with them and their kids. I look back on that as a very special time. I was just a year older than my grandson.
I was stuck in Denver Airport for 8 hours. Lots of nice shops. Got some Christmas shopping done. Sat in a bar, got something to eat, read my book, then FINALLY got to leave. Flights were delayed because of a winter storm. If you have to be stuck in an airport, I recommend Denver.
