In ALMOST FAMOUS, the groupies called themselves "band aids"...It was a good movie...I watched it in the theater back in 2000...
I love that movie. Cameron Crowe drew on his own life story to show what the rock world was like in that era. It really brought back memories of an era when music was great and actually had cultural significance, but also made me recall how I idolized the musicians, who had “cool.” Even though he did some reprehensible stuff, seeing Jimmy Page swagger with his Les Paul will always send me.
