I think I heard “Last Christmas” for the first time this year around Nov. 1st. Could have been earlier.

Hope not to hear it again for a LONG time - if ever - but it seems every elevator, retail business and dentist’s office plays that song ad nauseam.

Please explain what this is.   I have read in the comments above about a Wham song called "Last Christmas" but I do not remember ever hearing something like that.   I haven't listened to the radio much in the past eight years.   I haven't watch much network television since many years before that.   What is the deal with "Last Christmas?"

I have to admit that I've thought "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" was a catchy tune.   But, I always thought it was a one hit wonder.
