So the contention that Jesus had to deliver her is perfectly orthodox; he did so at her conception. The song says "will soon deliver you," indicating that her deliverance was still in the future, which is of course wrong. Perhaps that's what you meant.

Ah, that's where we differ, the premise that Mary was sinless and not like us mortals. No, only Jesus was sinless.
I doubt we'll settle that disagreement in a FR discussion since it hasn't been settled through the ages as it is. What you say would be anathema and blasphemous to me since you're elevating Mary to divinity.
I'll leave it at that.
