Ayn Rand was ahead of her times.
“Equity” is horsesh*t they use to treat idiots who are too stupid to learn or maggots who don’t want to learn. You can send every Snowflake and Zero in the U.S. to college. More than half will come out no smarter than they were when they went in. As for migrants, forget it. They’re dumber than hell but are automatically given Valedictorian status as soon as it is learned that they are illegal aliens.
The dumbing down of America has been going on for decades!
And the trees are all made equal, by hatchet, axe and saw!
Appalling. Recognize achievement.
This school has been the target of the woke for several years now. Why? Because admissions are based on merit.
They lost on the admissions, so now going after outcomes. What a bunch of losers — dangerous ones, nonetheless.
You are correct. None of this will change until there are lawsuits.
Correct in everything you said. Its becoming an increasing problem in NOVA schools punishing asians, indians, and middle easterners for not being the right shade of skin color or ethnic background - and by that I do not mean white or caucasian. Because equity or something.
BAD policy, recognition and achievement helps students become better people.
The Thos Jefferson high school had previously been focused on merit in STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering and Math — and as such, attracted a large population of East Indian and assorted Asian families to the area.
This is the same hyper-smart demographic that Harvard is being sued for excluding, because the Asian families who have been motivated to emigrate to American for opportunities are on average smarter than whites and blacks. Asian college applicants have been outnumbering all other ethnicities on test scores and entrance exams, in excess of their percentage of population. It was messing with Harvard's social engineering goals to make all blacks equal, regardless of aptitudes, and make all whites go along with shaming and manipulations.
