Most of the 60’s revolution happened in the 1970’s.

You mean that's when it went mainstream, and the Revolutionaries became school teachers.

1970-1974 was the hot period for hippies and such. We still had hippies near campus in 1977, many former military.

Ok so I was in grade school in the early 70’s and HS mid to late -70’s. One of my teachers taught me in 5th grade, and then later taught at my HS. He taught history both times. I don’t remember which branch of the military he served in, but he served in the Philippines. His wife was Filipino. Nicest guy. He was not a revolutionary in any way, at least, not that I could discern. He was very by the book, and pretty conservative. I mention only because he didn’t fit the bill as described.
