Liddy seemed to indicate it was John Dean and his wife who were trying to hide info about a call girl operation out of the Watergate Hotel. Recently the suggestion that the little black book had info about child molestations summizing that is the real reason Nixon erased some of the tape. Who knows? CIA was involved. Full Stop.

That all reminds me of the Boystown scandal of the 80’s. This was downplayed by the corrupt system too, which allegedly involved DC politicians.
