I wish I had been there. Been to D.C. twice.
Once to visit the Vietnam Memorial back in the 80s
and once for a wedding reception. Did all the touristy things - Arlington Cemetary -went to JFK’s grave among others; Some dedication was at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; WW2 memorial; Vietnam Wall; Reflecting Pond;Some Museum.

The Washington Monument was closed for repairs. Never made a WH tour - was heavily guarded when we were there. not sure why.
