Not killing me yet. I used to drink a lot of beer. And I mean a LOT. Very rarely now. I switched to mixed drinks, I don’t drink as much and it’s more effective. I drink to be able to sleep. I refuse to take Ambien or other drugs. It is what it is. It’s not out of control and I am beyond functional.

Re: sleeping better
I started using a low dose melatonin about a month ago. My insomnia has been largely cured. I used to be up until 3am or worse.
I am taking one of these when I turn off the light after reading:

The label says 1mg melatonin.

I must have a low natural melatonin level, despite getting plenty of natural light.
