On the other hand, the Bible tells me that I have a body a soul(behavior mechanism of mind will and emotions), and a spirit. Paul writes that if there is a physical body there is also a spirit body. From all indications those who have died and come back say they recognized folks and were themselves recognized while in spirit only.
I have concluded that the spirit exists in a spacetime continuum greater in variability than the spacetime of our current physical bodies. I would go on but I sense I have already lost readers at this juncture in my explanation.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
A word is merely a metaphor for a pattern of consciousness that has meaning. In the beginning was consciousness, and that consciousness manifested in the flesh.
In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
The shape of the “light” varies. Some are in the shape of orbs, some are flowing liquid light, and sometimes it is like a beam coming from the sun.
Light is an intrinsic characteristic of higher levels of consciousness. It’s the glow around the saints.
Love is also a characteristic of higher consciousness.
God is Love and Light.
I see this light in varying intensities all the time. The Holy Spirit appears as a liquid swirling golden light. When the light shines through from Heaven, it is very bright and intense.
It is this light, which is actually higher consciousness, that flows through me and does the work during exorcisms and spirit releasement work.
Consciousness functions similar to the electrons in the orbitals around the nucleus of an atom. The higher the orbital, the greater the intrinsic energy. This is why the father of atomic physics, Danish physicist Neils Bohr discovered that a “photon” is released when an electron travels from a higher orbital to a lower orbital. This is also why nuclear processes of splitting the atom give off great heat to produce explosions and generate electricity.
I often see this light around people who are praying. I see and feel it around people who are dying as their soul is guided into the brighter light of Heaven.
I see the light flowing into some ministers like a spotlight from above when they are preaching. When this happens to me, I find my ears listening to the words coming out of my mouth. It’s not me speaking, but flowing through me.
It’s very humbling.
The term “orb” merely describes the shape of an individual soul. It varies in size and intensity, but is round or oval shaped, far greater in size than any physical body. It is the spark of God that gave life to create the individual soul. It grows as the soul grows.
Consciousness and the soul are physical to my perception. I see and feel them as they are material. Sins are merely a darkness in this light that creates an obstacle to Love in the soul by blocking the light. These too are physical objects.
The Bible is very accurate, but necessarily metaphoric for people to understand it.
I surely don’t discount anything you have posted here. The afterlife is more sophisticated than the physical. Those two domains can, and do, interact. The people “over there” know how it works while we don’t know too much about either domain.
