She wasn’t stupid. She was foreign born, and had watched “Wheel” to learn English. I’m betting she was not familiar with the long word “spaghetti” and just had to guess.
By the way, when she introduced herself she expressed her love of the country. The crowd gave her a hand. Much nicer than this one.
