I agree. I like to know where thoughts about the bible originate. Are they from bible believers? What is the weight of biblical thinking over the years? Are the ideas corrupted by heresies?

I’ll ask about Genesis 6 and see what it says.

Check this out. It's pretty bland, but it isn't inaccurate.
Are the "Sons of God" in Genesis 6 in the Bible angels?

In the book of Genesis, chapter 6, the "sons of God" are referred to in verse 2 as beings who took human women as wives and had children with them. The identity of these "sons of God" is a matter of debate among biblical scholars and theologians. Some interpret them as being angels, while others understand them to be human descendants of Seth, the son of Adam and Eve.

One view is that the "sons of God" were angels who left their own domain and came to earth, taking on human form and marrying human women. According to this interpretation, the offspring of these unions were giants or Nephilim, who were known for their great size and strength.

Another view is that the "sons of God" were human descendants of Seth, who were considered godly or righteous because they followed God and kept his commands. According to this interpretation, the "daughters of men" referred to in the text were descendants of Cain, who were considered wicked or unrighteous. The union of the two groups produced offspring who were a mixture of good and evil, leading to corruption and violence on the earth.

Ultimately, the true identity of the "sons of God" in Genesis 6 is not definitively stated in the text, and it is up to individual interpretation.
