And more. It is preposterously illogical to say that having had a shot (no vax exists, remember) allowed a person a mild case.
There is simply no way to know whether a “vaxxed” person would have had a mild case if they were NOT “vaxxed.”
Remember, before there was an injection erroneously called a vax, there was another scare going on. The asymptomatic covid. A huge number of people had the covid and showed zero symptoms and these were declared a danger because they could become super spreaders. (I think I remember the term, “Typhoid Mary” used for the asymptomatics.) That was used to justify lockdowns.
By definition, asymptotic patients had “mild cases.” Which is one way to know you don’t have to be “vaxxed” to survive as a mild case. There may have millions of such cases that we don’t know about bc they never sought medical or self-reported. We don’t even know if the asymptomatic danger was created out of whole cloth to scare people. You never hear of them anymore. Which implies that the jerks who condemned asymptotic “mild cases” back then and now get Covid and claim to be “mild cases” are . . . well, hypocrites, at a minimum.
Like you I, one of the unwashed unvaxxed, had a mild case. A single day of muscle aches. Two days of fatigue. And done. Many members of my immediate family, vaxxed, were laid up in bed for a week or more with Covid. For me to say, “I had a mild case of Covid because I was, thank heaven, unvaxxed,” is just as valid as saying, “I had a mild case case bc I was vaxxed.” Which is to say, beyond illogical.
If the injection truly was a vaccine, yes, you’d get a mild case. But it is not a vaccine. Yet. It was sold as a way to prevent you from getting Covid altogether.
It did not prevent Covid. Which became a pandemic of the vaccinated.
Why would anybody believe that if it did not prevent what it was engineered to prevent, it could assure you’d get only a mild case? Ignorance? Denial? Illogic?
All of the above?
And Paul Harvey once did a segment on the fact that everyone that ever eats a pickle ends up dying.
They have time and money to study whether traffic accidents are related to vaccination but no time or money to study whether prior infection protects as well as vaccination.
