It's niacinamide, not niacin, that's toxic to the liver. Niacinamide is a no-flush version of niacin, but toxic in large doses.

In the machine in front of me, the guy (one of two different vendors on site, that I witnessed). Fuddled around for a while, looked for name tag, etc, etc. Finally he started, and I caught a glimpse of the opening screen, “Logic and Accuracy Testing”. That was enough for me, and I left.
