The actuary trade journals have been leaking this stuff for months. The proprietary studies from the insurance companies are said to be horrifying in their conclusions.

These are really smart analysts who get paid enormous incomes to guide the insurance company policies worth trillions of dollars. The insurance companies can buy and sell politicians (or at least rent them). The companies are not going to take the prospective losses that have been forecast. They are going to change the rules, using their political influence.

A tsunami is gathering offshore. What the people on the beach feel about that does not really matter.

There needs to be data that the public can view.

Otherwise it turns into secret squirrel and “a friend of a friend” saw the data, etc. That does no one any good.
