Who is “they”???????
“The trial will be all over the media, and then they are going to prison. We need to put some major distance between ourselves and them, Stat!”
Too much to read.
Has he lied about his father?
They have to distance themselves because they know HE’S toast.
Yes. Sam considers himself as “non-binary”, so that’s where the author gets the they / themself stuff. Makes for painful reading.
Confusing article to read. I’m guessing the LGBTQ community knows this thing is a fraud and is trying to distance itself away from it.
Once someone starts down the rabbit hole of lies, and gets away with, the lies continue.
There should be no question that conversion therapy is legitimate. Why the LBGT “community” wants conversion therapy held as illegitimate is it calls into question the position that being “gay” is something someone is “born” to, as opposed to something that happens along the way in nurture - life experience and the choices we make during personality development. Science cannot say that there is a “gay gene”, so the processes in nurture, and understanding them are a legitimate avenue of investigation.
That is not to say that ANY form of conversion therapy is legitimate. It is possible for some to be unnecessarily cruel and involve harmful methods in attenpts to merely “prevent” “gay” behavior, instead of attempting to help someone understand its possible roots, and how to change it by their own choosing.
That last statement is particularly hated by the “LGBT community” because if someone can chose to change away from LGBT behavior, that change supports the idea it was chosen to start with.
Why is psychological therapy needed? Becuase many parts of psychological development are not instances of one-off choices, but instead are personality attributes built over time by numerous seemingly incidental choices that only accumulatively demonstrate a particular personality attribute. That process is clear to anyone who admits they don’t know why they have some personality attributes they have, and will say “I think I have always been this way”, because the process was not a single conscience act they can identify with.
But the true honesty of it is, once it is understood, is it was - even of only accumulatively, a choice.
Excellent! ‘Nuclear Naughtiness’.
At Halloween, those kits would ‘float’ out of the store in no time, all accessories included.
I just know that a mentally ill person like that should never be in charge of nuclear waste someone could use to built a dirty bomb.
He needs to be in the nuthouse.
If this thing is two people... That’s 10 years and $20k right?
I didn’t think of it that way but you have an excellent point.
the article refers to him as “they”. How long are we going to tolerate this crap?
You said it! Difficult enough reading about this piece of garbage, yet being tripped up every other sentence with the use of wrong pronouns.
The guy is a he! That’s it. Period.
HE! HE! HE! HIS! HIS! HIS!
Like you said, these idiot people need to grow up.
Indeed, painful is right. See my post #35.
The guy is a mental case, thus the stupidly, ridiculous non-binary crap.
I agree with you about 95%. It’s hard to say whether people are born gay or straight considering I knew I was attracted to both sexes very, very young. I “liked” boys and girls the same way, starting around 6 or 7. Not really sure how that can be explained in nurturing given my family’s conservative Catholic background, and I sure wasn’t introduced to that material anywhere at that age that I can recall (and I would recall). Although nurture probably explains the vast majority, especially now with it being slapped all over children’s books and entertainment.
When gays hear, “conversion therapy”, they’re imagining Christian summer camps where kids are tortured into heterosexuality (nausea-induced aversion therapy of the ‘60’s) , which is nonsense; but it’s their definition. They aren’t exactly thinking of talk therapy, but they lump it in with any potential law banning conversion therapy anyway because it’s effective for unwanted same-sex attraction.
You can't reclaim something you never had. The so-called “bizarre ex-gay spokespeople” the author refers to could never do anything as egregious as trying to normalize sexual deviancy in the face of God. High ground still unobtainable so don't worry Wayne, you've lost nothing.
“They allegedly stole a woman’s suitcase worth $2,325 from a carousel at the Minneapolis Airport. Brinton, who served as a nuclear expert at the Department of Energy before being suspended from their duties, has a December 19 hearing. They face up to five years imprisonment, a $10,000 fine, or both.”
Makes sense, but why doesn’t the article tell us who his accomplice was?
“I can picture him [the therapist] clear as day in my nightmares.”
Frauds play with words to trick their audience into false conclusions. Brinton’s statement literally reveals that the “therapist” is imaginary. Mr. Therapist can’t be named because he isn’t a real person; the whole story is bullshit Brinton has dreamed up.
