Actually Satan means accuser whereas Lucifer means morning light or star. They may be different. I don’t know the exact nature of this accuser. If you know something different that you can cite, please let me know.

Both references to the same entity, the same fallen angel. A Cherub more specifically.

In as far as my point goes, demons are specifically the disembodied spirits of human/angelic hybrids you can read about in Genesis chapter 6. (Goliath was one)

Fallen angels on the other hand, would have absolutely no desire whatsoever to “Possess” a human, because their own bodies are far superior... unlike Demons which at some point in history (primarily Noah’s flood) lost theirs upon physical death.
