Why would you need developer mode to run FR? You lost me.

In order to use the chrome browser extensions at the link
you have to run chrome in developer mode
but Chrome runs FR so slowly that I have gone to Edge anyway

It’s in the install instructions from cynwoody,
developer mode (at leasst in Vivaldi) opens up the “Load Pack”;”Pack Extensions” and “Update” buttons.
These extensions need to be “Load packed”
