#1 was only 2015. I’m in #5 and I know they’re coming for me. Many health care professionals who came out in support of medically assisted suicide before the law was passed in 2016 are now horrified at the expansion of the law. I’m having trouble grasping the level of wilful ignorance and denial that it takes to be standing on a very slippery slope and not be able to see the slope. This is clear proof that critical thinking is absent in many people, even those in highly educated circles. I’m not sure we can unring this bell. SMH
