Just open up that sand wedge a bit and, boom, 58° Lob Wedge. When we were kids we used to place the ball on a fluffy lie, pop it straight up and catch it in our pockets.

Exactly! The technique for a flop shot is important, but I think it’s one that requires more courage and commitment than anything else. Whether you think you can make that shot or you think you can’t, you’re right.
That’s a cool trick to catch the ball in your pocket! I have no trick shots, though I just re-painted my ancient, second-hand T-Line putter from electric blue glitter to flaming hot pink. It’s throws off the fellow-competitors 😎
