YES!!! And it has been going on for a long time and with STRONG support from some supposedly GOPers!
Indians, almost all of them, harbor deep resentment against the “white man”. They believe in reverse colonization of GB and the USA.
You know, this “destroy the nation by inflating the currency” talk is starting to piss me off.
The nation does not live or die based on a change in the money system or the relationships between creditors and debtors.
Two recent examples are Germany and Japan.
$66 trillion owed by Americans to other Americans and foreigners is not going to be repaid. It’s not supposed to be repaid. It’s supposed to keep bleeding the little people, enough so they don’t die while the usurers continue to profit.
When I turned 21 I couldn’t get a credit card. My three children 25, 23, and 21 get ten credit card offers per week.
The debt is going to be repudiated. All of it. It’s no more real than Reichsmarks, or Yen, were real in September 1945.
And look at Germany and Japan today.

When you were 21 we still had elected officials who held to ideas like ‘usury is a bad thing’. Of course that required a moral education that has vanished since that time and been replaced by a libertarian mindset of anything goes.

Yes, I really haven’t understood the SCALE of usury that is possible with modern technology, and that the lucky holders of all those platinum cards are not SUPPOSED to pay them off, but rather are supposed to labor for another for their whole lives.
My grandma (PBUH) taught in NYC Public for 55 years. She used to come over on the weekends to teach my sisters and I things she thought were especially important - like saving your silver and spending nickels and pennies.
I still remember the day she showed up with a newspaper article she had cut out (a favorite method of hers) describing the first BankAmericard (later VISA). She was incredulous “Jimmy, can you just imagine what is going to happen to people when they get one of these? They will become slaves !”
Well, as they say, owe the bank a thousand dollars, you have a problem. Owe the bank a million, THEY have a problem.

I remember the TV ads for the BankAmericard. I was in high school at the time.
Prior to that, the main ‘credit card’ was probably the Diner’s Club card, but I think that one required you to pay it off every month. You couldn’t run up a lot of debt.
IIRC the elimination of usury law in South Dakota led to the explosive growth of credit card debt in America. Citibank set up shop there and the rest is history.
Of course at some point The Gods of the Copybook Headings may return and show everyone why there were usury laws in the first place.
