Actually, that’s MY key point. He ignored it, even though the signs on the Sphinx and Sphinx enclosure clearly point to flood erosion as the most likely culprit for most of the erosion patterns we see.
No, he did not. I've read his books and seen photographs of the erosion. It is NOT flood erosion. The pits are on the TOPS of the structures, not the bases.
