The pizza you loved as a kid or young adult is usually your favorite.
We never had pizza as a kid. I recall one time mom made something like it with some ketchup and cheese on top! I recall going to Pizza Hut for birthdays as a kid and I liked that.
I don’t recall eating any memorable pizza in college. Moved to NJ after college and there they have great pizza. My wife is from there so is pretty picky about her pizza.
We went back there a few years ago. The pizza shop that she had gone to as a teen and older was closing for good. We got to eat there on their last day. My wife was sad, but there were two other really good places in the small town.
