I do self imposed FB prison. I’ve made maybe 8 or 9 postings on there in 14 years. I joined to keep up with family and a few friends, but with texting and email I pretty much cover that without FB. My wife won’t join it, but uses my account to look at Marketplace almost every day, and checks my home page stuff for me (stuff I probably already know about).
Then she saw a family friend that wanted to ‘friend’ us, and instead of friending just that one, she clicked once and friended over 50 some people that had asked me to friend them. For that miscue I’ve threatened her with closing my account, lol. I’ve told most of the original ones that if they think I’m on there because of the green dotted profile pic, they would almost certainly be mistaken.
