One tip that worked for me with cataract surgery: the time between the two surgeries is bad because one eye is perfect and the other still isn’t.

Wearing glasses with just one lens for the still-bad eye helps a little but really puts things off kilter.

I still had my contact lenses, so put the one contact in the bad eye. Wonderful!

Yeah, that's what I figured. I got rid of my contacts years ago, but I'm glad you still had them to help you out. They told me to wear sunglasses after the surgery, but I don't have any, and wasn't planning on buying any. I know they will be giving me a guard to wear at night for a day or two. I'll probably just put that on if I have to go out of the house, or tape gauze over that eye.
