Sometimes I wonder if the child porn charge is not a convenient redux of the the molestation charges of the late 20th century.
A ton of ruined reputations and marriages that (as I remember) some, at least, were bogus charges.
An ugly reality about modern life is that trading sexually explicit photos is not at all uncommon these days among high school students, many of whom are under 18.
Of course, as far as the law goes, "child porn" is defined as everything from infancy to age 17 years, 364 days.
Prepubescent child.
