(had been armed with a crowbar and bolt cutters when they attempted the burglary in 2019)
Which is why I carry once again now that the previous job is over. It was forbidden there and I had to comply.
Dear Karma...
I know a bunch of people that carry against work policy.
One’s life and family are more important than some job.
Of course, the decision is yours.
Where I live you can shoot them. I suppose a car would work but it can get messy, both physically and legally.
Mine had likely real criminal penalties.
So I never carried to the job.
But I won’t say who it was even in mail.
In my church a couple of sundays ago I was giving a “dramatic” short speech between songs (I’m in the praise band). Part of the effect was to do it without a mic and sort of shout or talk very loud. Well, the first word out of my mouth was “TROUBLE!”, followed by a short pause.
My friend, who works for the state police, said they had gotten a “threat” that a man was going to shoot up a local church, so he was wearing, concealed, his Glock and his badge. He told me after church, that when I yelled that word, his hand IMMEDIATELY went to his gun, and he thought ours was the church. 🤣
Quit yelling. :)
Clickbait.
England (Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, per the article).
WHADYA EXPECT????
I read the article and I think I see the problem: his last name
No wonder England is going down.
“A GoFundMe page called ‘Give Adam White Justice’ has been set up to help his family”
Inb4 GoFundMe closes the account
Understood. The people I know would be hired elsewhere that week.
No criminal penalties involved.
Any normal job I still carry at least in my car. Then I wouldn’t care.
Let’s just say they caught a guy who should have known better at the last job.
Once I got there I was inside a guarded establishment and almost always behind two secured doors requiring badge access and entrances were monitored. Always behind at least one secure door even at lunch.
Whatever your job was, I don’t want it. :)
Hopefully your new job is cooler.
I work 5’ from my bed...
Gun under my pillow, not shaved, and wearing gym clothes.
That thar is funny. Good to see you CL, haven’t seen any of your posts in awhile
Gotta find a different mechanism to the cowards and woke-tards of GoEffMe.
It sounds odd, but also have a M-16 bayonet attachment next to the gun.
:)
50 years ago my dad pointed out we were always prepared. He had a gun under every piece of furniture, behind every door. His motto was if you need one, better to have one nearby than having to go get one.
