I’d bet most men would stay married if they were allowed to screw around women in general are not going to stand for a cheating husband even if they have cut him off

1 in 5 marriages are sexless. They never have sex.

I don’t know the number of marriages were sex is infrequent, but I suspect it’s more than 20% as sexless is 20%. Maybe another 30%.

So we’re talking about half of all marriages where sex is infrequent at best?

A wife “cutting off” her husband is absolutely unacceptable—at least from a biblical standpoint. Yes, so is adultery, but biblically cutting-off your husband is as serious a sin as adultery.

“5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 1 Cor 7:5”

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea. Mark 9:42”

Most people assume the Mark passage only applies to children. It doesn’t, as we are ALL children of God. The real lesson here is that anyone that deliberately commits an action that causes another to sin has also sinned.

If a wife cutts-off her husband knowing this will cause him to be temped to commit adultery she’s too has committed a sin.

My position is that a wife who has lost interest in keeping her husband sexually satisfied, has forfeited any right to his fidelity.

Women file for divorce 70% of the time and 90% if college educated per recent statistics I have seen. I am widowed and no way will would I remarry. Too risky for me.
