Yet, when was the last time you heard a sermon about the wife and husband’s obligation to have sex with each other? It’s in the Bible. Paul preached it.

And usually it’s about a woman’s obligation towards her husband. Nobody ever mentions men who aren’t interested in sex.

I’ve had people who do marriage counseling tell me that happens and it’s more common than you’d think. I was kind of shocked considering how men are portrayed as such testosterone driven creatures.

Many times on this forum I have posted the following (clean version):

Gentlemen: Only ever “do it” with your wife.

Ladies: Only ever “do it” with your husband.

It seems, for this thread, I have to offer this, as well:

Gentlemen: Be the sort of man that your wife would want to “do it” with.

Ladies: Be the sort of woman that your husband would want to “do it” with.

Desirability is a necessary adjunct to fidelity.
