Is your weather anything like Corpus Christie? I lived there for a year and a half. Best winters ever, but summers were pretty bad.
We have what I would call moderate summers and winters (except for last week). We picked the middle of the country, hoping we’d get moderate seasons. It could’ve both bad ones, but it was worth the risk.
Our summers are the absolute worst, humidity and heat wise.
Only New Orleans has seemed hotter/more humid, to me.
The winters are typically mild….except for last week…winter before last…
I told hubby we need a summer cabin, in the (westward) mountains.
He’s liking the idea, more and more. We’ll be commuters 😂
