Merry Christmas to thee, fine maid. Prithee hath a fine feast with kith and kin o'er this Yuletide. Thou hath createth much merriment this fine day. We today feasteth on chicken baked in the wine that is white with the rice that is fried.

our repast was somewhat limited due to the storm, but we enjoyed Beef Stroganoff cooked on the evenings fire
in the wood cookstove in the kitchen.

It was slow cooked and wonderful, with apple pie
a la mode for dessert. Not too bad a repast!
